Chris Leavens is a Los Angeles-based illustrator and digital artist whose work explores surreal landscapes, strange creatures, and the kind of places that feel like they exist just on the edge of a dream.

His illustrations have appeared in galleries, video games, books, magazines, TV shows, and feature films.

Working primarily in vector and digital media, Chris brings a hand-crafted feeling to work that is precise and endlessly scalable.

He has worked in-house at Disney and taken on contract work for companies including Tiny Speck, Google, and Oxford University Press.

Outside of illustration, he designs and builds furniture, and spends time running and hiking.
